Press Release: ASUS Announces X99 Deluxe, X99-Pro and X99-A Motherboards
ASUS has launched a new X99 motherboard range: X99 Deluxe, X99-Pro and X99-A. The Deluxe leads the pack with a fully packed ATX motherboard, while the Pro and A slim down on features to hit lower price points. They all feature patent-pending OC Socket, a revolutionary PCB layout and UEFI BIOS that can drive great OCs with stable voltages and up to 8 DIMMs at over 3GHz retaining low voltage.
The Deluxe is bundled with 802.11ac 3x3 (3T3R) WiFi adapter that can push data at 1300Mbps (with compatible routers like the RT-AC68U or RT-AC87U), Crystal Sound 2 with DTS, a Hyper M.2 X4 PCI-Express card for dual 32Gbps M.2 SSD support (the other affixes vertically via bracket near the ATX socket), and a fan extension hub providing three extra 4-pin fan connectors, controllable via Fan Xpert in AI Suite III. Intel Thunderbolt support is provided via ASUS ThunderboltEX II series cards purchased separately (or migrated from other Z87/Z97 builds).
A round up of this hardware is shown in the gallery, and they are in addition to even more features listed in the overview picture and press release below.
The X99-Deluxe (and -WS, ROG Rampage V Extreme) are available from today, while X99-A follows in stores shortly (specs are in the press release). Further details on the X99-Pro specs will follow with the motherboard arriving in stores around the end of September.
