The ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE’s switches benefit from a new ROG Hall Sensor, giving you a responsive, precise typing experience. The sensor’s Hall effect (HE) technology relies on magnets instead of metal contacts, resulting in incredibly accurate and customizable actuation, low-friction typing, and unrivaled durability. These switches are compatible across all supported ROG HE keyboards and upgrades, too.

You have two switch choices with this keyboard. ROG HFX V2 magnetic switches deliver incredible keystroke stability and low-friction, buttery smooth typing. But keyboard modders may prefer the ROG HFX V2X magnetic switches, which offer wide compatibility with plunger and cross-shaped keycaps and use an X-stabilizer mechanism to eliminate key wobble.

Both switches benefit from ROG Hall Sensor technology, enabling 0.01mm keystroke detection — you need barely touch a key for that input to be registered and sent to your game. You can customize the switches' actuation range from 0.1 to 3.5mm, though, with precise adjustments as tiny as 0.01mm per step.

Here’s why that matters: while shorter actuation distance is great for responsive gaming, you may actually want a bit more travel when typing, since that extra distance can prevent accidental typos. In the past, you'd need two separate keyboards — one with ultra-fast actuation that boosts your competitive gaming and another with longer travel distance for comfortable, accurate typing. With the Falchion, you get both. Onboard memory allows you to save up to five profiles, making it easy to bounce between finetuned actuation settings on the fly even when you plug the Falchion into a different machine. You could set one profile with a short actuation point for FPS gaming (0.2-1.0mm) and have another profile with deeper actuation for everyday work (1.8mm and above). This helps you stay prepared for every typing scenario.

When it’s game time, get ready to reap the rewards of magnetic switches. Traditional mechanical switches require a return to their reset point before the next input can register. But with the ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE’s Rapid Trigger feature, the switches can reset instantly as they move upward. This lets you pump out more inputs every single second. You’ll have a huge advantage when strafing or pulling off complex micromovements in games. By default, Rapid Trigger only affects the W, A, S, and D keys. You can customize per-key settings with the keyboard’s built-in sensitivity adjustment wheel or with our lightweight web app, Gear Link.

Speed Tap mode is another way we amp up your ability to outpace opponents. When you activate this feature, rapid-fire inputs will be queued and executed with incredible accuracy. So instead of simultaneous left and right movement inputs cancelling each other out, you’ll be able to move like a pro. Speed Tap is such a power boost that it's deemed an unfair competitive advantage in some esports titles, such as Counter-Strike 2 — wield its power with caution and respect the rules of your favorite games. Just know that when you use Speed Tap and Rapid Trigger together, you’ll zig-zag around enemies with next-level speed and precision.
