Gaming and streaming gets a power-up

That’s why the Strix GA15 and GT15 are available with powerful graphics cards up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER, which is capable of running the latest titles at high resolutions or with faster refresh rates. Get a competitive edge in Overwatch, where our internal testing showed the Strix GA15 pushing 240 FPS with Full HD Epic details, or dive into the richly detailed sandbox of Far Cry 5, where the same machine hit triple-digit frame rates with Ultra details at Full HD resolution.
The secret behind this performance lies in the NVIDIA Turing architecture behind the GeForce RTX series. Turing combines CUDA, RT, and Tensor cores dedicated to programmable shading, real-time ray tracing, and AI acceleration to generate more realistic graphics and effects than ever before. Its new video encoder also improves your ability to stream and game simultaneously with impressively high quality and minimal performance impact. The Strix GA15 pushes its multitasking prowess to the max with up to an AMD® Ryzen™ 7 3800X CPU. With 8 cores and 16 threads, it easily handles gaming, live-streaming, recording highlights, and keeping up with chats. These new Ryzen chips are built with a cutting-edge 7nm process technology that fits more cores into less die area, enabling efficient, attainable machines that pack impressive power. Top configurations add up to 32GB of high-performance DDR4-3200 RAM, ensuring responsiveness even under heavy loads. You don’t have to worry about the system slowing down while you’re trying to plow through a big project or juggling loads of applications and browser tabs. Storage options include M.2-based NVMe SSDs up to 1TB, so there’s ample room for anything you want to load at warp speed. For larger game libraries, the system is available with 2TB of mechanical storage. You can also download AMD StoreMI Technology to accelerate dual-drive configurations. StoreMI caches your most frequently accessed data on the SSD, melding the responsiveness of solid-state storage with the massive capacity of mechanical drives to speed up load times for all your favorite games and apps.

An efficient design with carefully tailored cooling helps get the most out of the system’s components. The chassis is a more compact, pared-down variation of the airflow-enhancing Wind Shear design featured in the high-end Strix GA35 and GT35. Inside, components are separated to help minimize thermal interference. The CPU, GPU, and motherboard are isolated in the main chamber, while the storage bays and power supply sit below in a separate cooling zone. This dual-chamber design makes it easier to cool the hottest components. Widened vents in the exterior panels guide more air into the chassis, assisting in heat dissipation and allowing the GA35 to produce stealthy noise levels under 35 dB while gaming in Metro Exodus.
Take this quiet but potent performance anywhere with a convenient carrying handle elegantly integrated in the chassis. It’s strong enough to bear up to 30kgf of sustained force–far more than you need for the system’s 10kg stock weight. The cleverly hidden headphone hook can hold heavy headsets up to 3kg, helping keep your battlestation or tournament setup clean and clutter-free. It’s strong enough to withstand momentary force up to 10kgf, so it can survive rough handling.

Aesthetics can be a big part of how much you enjoy your gaming environment, so deep personalization features make it easy to get these Strix gaming desktops to vibe perfectly with your space. The case comes with an EMI-shielded glass panel that lets you look inside to see the powerful components illuminated by RGB lighting. Customizable lighting also cuts across the front of the chassis with an evenly diffused glow. With compatible Aura Sync devices like the ROG Strix Flare mechanical keyboard and ROG Gladius II gaming mouse that can be bundled with these systems in some regions, it’s easy to coordinate colors and effects across your entire setup and change them to match your mood.
ROG Armoury Crate software offers tons of tuning options for lighting and other system settings. You can also use the system utility to create Scenario Profiles that automatically load personal preferences when you launch specific games and applications. Scenario Profiles detect the active application and adjust system performance, cooling, lighting, and other settings to ensure an ideal configuration for the task at hand.
For a more personalized audio experience, Sonic Studio III supports manual customization and offers five specially tuned modes for different kinds of games. The software enables more immersive audio with virtual surround sound for stereo headphones. It also enhances recording quality by filtering out noise, reducing artifacts, and stabilizing input volume to ensure teammates and viewers can hear you more clearly, whether you’re strategizing in-game or commentating on-stream.

The GA15 and GT15 offer fast charging and data transfer via one reversible Type-C™ (USB-C™) port with peak interface bandwidth of 10Gbps via USB 3.2 Gen 2. Five Type-A USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports make space for all your favorite peripherals and any other devices that benefit from fast data transfers.
For gaming or streaming 4K video on the big screen, hook up to the HDMI 2.0b port and enjoy Ultra HD content at up to 60Hz. DisplayPort 1.4 outputs are available to drive high-refresh gaming monitors, including those compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC™ technology for a smoother and more immersive experience. Connecting multiple monitors can also provide a huge boost to multitasking, letting you keep track of chats, email, browsing, and other tasks while gaming on your main display.
Gigabit-class networking manifests in two flavors. Gigabit Ethernet offers a lower latency connection for multiplayer gaming, while Wi-Fi 5 provides fast wireless access for everyday streaming and web browsing.
