With its ROG Strix Scar 15, Asus offers us a gaming laptop very close to perfection. It offers very interesting performance and features a 300 Hz screen very well calibrated from the factory, associated with powerful components. The good surprise comes from its battery life: over 5 hours (in silent mode) in our PCMark test, we almost forget that this is not an ultrabook but rather a machine for gaming.

The downsizing of the SCAR 15 compared to the SCAR 17 is not accompanied by a commensurate reduction in performance. Granted, the 15W less headroom on the RTX 3080 is a little noticeable, but the Ryzen 7 5800H holds its own and stands as one of the most capable notebook processors on the market to round out a rig that can run any game.
