Personalization

The ROG Crosshair 2006 includes LiveDash, a built-in 2-inch OLED panel that shows useful information and features customizable graphics. During the power-on, self-test (POST) phase, the OLED shows key stats in simple language using traditional POST codes. In normal operation, the panel can be programmed to show CPU frequency, device temperatures, or fan speeds. You can also personalize the default OLED GIF with a preferred image or animation.
*Supports custom animation uploads in 256x64 pixel monochrome format (up to 100KB).

  • ROG Crosshair 2006 motherboard offers up to two USB4® Type-C® ports, two USB 20Gbps Type-C front-panel connectors—providing one port supporting Quick Charge 4+ (up to 60 watts with USB Wattage Watcher)—twelve USB 10Gbps ports, and three internal USB 2.0 headers.

  • ROG Crosshair 2006 motherboard supports WiFi7, which delivers up to 4.8X faster performance than WiFi6 with advanced technologies such as 320 MHz channels on the 6 GHz band and 4K QAM. WiFi7 also supports Multi-Link Operation (MLO) for connection stability, low latency, and smooth experiences with gaming, streaming, and high-performance wireless workloads.

  • Users can update the BIOS using the BIOS Flashback™ feature or through the UEFI BIOS interface. If your motherboard supports BIOS Flashback, you can update the BIOS without a CPU or memory installed.
    The new ASUS AMD 800 Series motherboards feature an upgraded 64MB ROM BIOS for a smoother interface and expanded compatibility with current and future AM5 processors.
