[ROG Strix Arion S500]What if I forget my password?

You can clear your S500 by reverting PSID by following steps below.

1.Please find your PSID code in the first page of S500’s user manual. (Shown as following picture)

2.Plug your ROG Strix Arion S500 to computer and go to ROG STRIX ARION.

3.Download the file title “ASUS_RevertTool V4.exe”.

Notice: This program will erase the data on your SSD.

4.Once the app is opened as below, the app will automatically recognize your device and show as ROG ESD-S1B05.

5.Once your enter this window, please follow the steps below:

5.1 Click on “Get Info” and Device will change to “ECFM13.3 ROG STRIX Arion S500”

5.2 Enter your PSID code from Step 1 to PSID cell under Parameter.

5.3 Click on “Run” to start to revert PSID.

5.4 Once finishes reverting PSID, the message column on the bottom of the window will show ”Revert PSID Success”.

5.5 Once the program is finished, please remove S500 from USB port and plug it to the computer again.

5.6 Please note that you will need to partition your ROG Strix Arion S500 again after reverting PSID.
