The BIOS is standardly good and Asus made sure there is no lack of fine-tuning options, which contributes to stable operation. The rear panel is packed with USB connectors of almost all generations and counts 12 ports.

WiFi 7, PCIe 5.0, a serious VRM, modern I/O… and the price isn't in the X870 zone. I am awarding it the "BEST BUY" award because of everything I've seen and I truly stand behind the opinion that high standards are slowly descending into the more affordable hardware segment!

The ROG Strix B850-F Gaming WiFi7 Neo board basically inherits and upgrades the design of its predecessor, bringing 5-gigabit LAN, a redesigned set of M.2 slots, and a transition to a 64 MB BIOS. A new feature is the addition of a new clock generator that isolates the CPU base clock from the memory, PCIe, and Infinity Fabric, enabling BCLK overclocking of the processor.

Support for the new generation of Ryzen processors is literally perfected, as is the RAM support, because setting speeds to 8GHz used to be almost impossible, while even with the B chipset it works in one click. The heatsink is massive, and the details are clean.

The power delivery unit is a very solid 12+2+1 configuration with 80-amp SPS components, which is more than enough even for the most powerful processors. Visually, the board is attractive, and the Neo design with white and gray tones fits the ROG aesthetic perfectly.
