Today on the test by far the best ASUS STRIX AM5 board so far! The famous E GAMING series is characterized by a superb VRM with 18 phases, a handful of very fast USB connections, audio optics and a bunch of PCIe 5.0 connections in addition to the two main ones intended for the GPU and the main M.2 SSD slot as on other boards.

Compared to its predecessors, it is a more advanced board and has many more features. Performance-wise there is nothing to say. Connectivity is very good and all the components are very high-end. The cost is the only negative note.

In this video I installed an ASUS ROG Strix X670E-E with an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, we will see the Bios and I will do a general system test. Being a ROG there's not much to say about the quality part, it's still very good and elegant in terms of design as well.

After today's review, I have to admit that even expensive boards can have their merits. Features such as AI Overclock, Core Flex and the ability to set different conditions here are the strengths of these more expensive Asus X670E pieces. It's just a shame that the USB 4.0 gear is only available on the Hero.
