The 2026 Zephyrus Duo lets you do it all with full-size dual screens

The king is back. For 2026, the Zephyrus Duo returns, this time as the world’s first dual 16” screen gaming laptop. Housed in a sleek CNC-milled aluminum chassis, the Zephyrus Duo is a true showstopper with two full-size 3K OLED touchscreen displays, giving you incredible flexibility when gaming or staying productive on the go. Featuring an Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 386H and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, the Duo was built from the ground up for flagship gaming and content creation wherever you are, no dongles required. Let’s dive into the features that make the Zephyrus Duo a one-of-a-kind gaming machine.
Seeing double in all the right ways

The defining feature of the Zephyrus Duo isn’t visible at first glance. Unfold the machine for the first time, and you see a standard thin and light laptop with a gorgeous 3K ROG Nebula HDR Display OLED touch panel. But hiding just out of view under the magnetic keyboard cover is another full-size OLED. Our engineers have managed to hide a complete dual-screen battlestation in a 16-inch laptop form factor, letting you maximize productivity and screen real estate wherever you go.
These panels are truly incredible. Each OLED panel is both ROG Nebula HDR and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certified, capable of up to 1100 nits of peak brightness for stunning HDR performance in games and your favorite video content. Both panels are extra tall with a 16:10 aspect ratio to further maximize screen real estate, and offer a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. The main panel also supports G-SYNC, ensuring you won’t deal with screen tearing in game.
With a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, and color accuracy of Delta E<1, the Zephyrus Duo is ready out of the box for anything, from professional video and photography workflows to stunningly vibrant gameplay.
Modern OLED displays have significantly more resistance to burn in than in the past, but we’ve taken every step possible to keep these screens looking stellar for years to come. Image persistence, or burn-in, on an OLED display can occur if a static high-contrast image is displayed for a prolonged period of time (like the task bar or a HUD in most games). To avoid this, ROG OLED laptops come equipped with OLED Care and Pixel Shift technology, which moves displayed pixels slightly to avoid consistently showing static images on your desktop and reduces the chance of burn-in.
All-new ways to work and play

When it comes to dual-screen laptops, ROG is the undisputed pioneer. Back in 2020, we took the dream of a multi-display gaming laptop and made it a tangible reality with the very first ROG Zephyrus Duo laptop. Armed with a secondary 14-inch IPS display above the keyboard, this machine revolutionized your possibilities for gaming and multitasking on the go. But the first Duo was just the start. Behind the scenes, we’ve been working on a new design that incorporates two complete full-size 3K displays to give you even more functionality without even a whiff of compromise. The 2026 Zephyrus Duo is the result of that work. A true game changer, this laptop gives you unparalleled flexibility courtesy of a true dual 16” screen design.
When you only need one screen, you can use it in its standard Laptop Mode, the tried-and-true clamshell layout of a modern notebook. In this mode, you can minimize your footprint in a cafe or on a tray table and just utilize the main screen. This is also the mode you would use if the wireless keyboard were in need of a charge.
Dual Screen Mode really leans into the new design of the Zephyrus Duo. With the keyboard removed and kickstand extended, you can use both screens simultaneously to level up your productivity or keep a wiki page open while you’re exploring a new dungeon. Or you can turn it 90 degrees into Book Mode, giving you two side-by-side portrait screens for programming or other tasks that benefit from a longer aspect ratio. If you’re a touchscreen user, you can also skip the wireless keyboard completely and use the Duo with a virtual keyboard as needed in these configurations.
Sharing Mode is all about sharing your screen. When the hinge is laid flat, you can duplicate your screen to easily share content and presentations with more than just a few people over your shoulder. Finally, Tent Mode sets the chassis up like the A-frame of a tent, allowing you to effortlessly game on the same machine without ever having to bump shoulders. Couch co-op will never be the same. We can’t wait to see how you’ll use the Zephyrus Duo.
Flagship performance and high-tech cooling

Running two 120Hz 3K displays is no small task, so we’ve equipped the Zephyrus Duo with the latest CPU and GPU for top-tier performance. Equipped with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with a max TGP of 135W, the Zephyrus Duo is a gaming and content creation juggernaut. This world-class GPU boasts the latest Blackwell architecture and software features, including DLSS 4 and Frame Generation, unlocking the highest levels of performance possible in today’s greatest games. With up to 24GB of VRAM and up to 1824 TOPS of NPU compute, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU far exceeds the requirements for most large language models to be run locally, allowing all of the creators out there to utilize the latest AI tools without relying on a cloud connection or subscription.
The Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 386H is a 16-core, 32-thread multitasking monster that can easily handle any application or AAA game you throw its way. Offering more single- and multi-threaded performance than previous gen processors, this chip is the perfect pairing for the cutting-edge Zephyrus Duo. We’ve also equipped the Zephyrus Duo with up to 64GB of ultra-fast LPDDR5X 8533MHz RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 5.0 SSD storage, ensuring that you’ll never run out of steam or bandwidth when gaming and creating.
The Zephyrus Duo boasts the latest ROG Intelligent Cooling technologies to push these components to the limit and unlock the 135W TGP on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU in this thin-and-light form factor. It’s the first ROG laptop with a graphite sheet behind the panel, improving cooling without adding a ton of extra bulk to the chassis. A custom vapor chamber with coverage of 45% of the motherboard help keep temps low during intense gaming sessions.
Since the Zephyrus Duo’s keyboard can’t act as an air intake like other laptops, two redesigned fans help keep the cooling system supplied with ample fresh air. They are also specifically tuned to help circulate air throughout the chassis before exhausting it, keeping the screen and surface mounted motherboard components supplied with fresh air. A dual heatsink and three exhaust vents keep cooling efficiency at peak performance in any orientation.
Premium design

As the flagship of the ROG Zephyrus gaming laptop line, the 2026 Zephyrus Duo needs to have an attention-worthy look. Everything about the Zephyrus Duo screams premium, right down to its bones. CNC-machined from lightweight yet incredibly strong aluminum alloy, the Duo is able to cut down on weight where possible without reducing any rigidity to the frame. The Stellar Grey colorway is subtle and sophisticated enough to feel right at home in the boardroom or the local cafe, while the latest Slash Lighting array can get the party started when the situation calls for it. Upgraded for 2026 with 35 discrete zones, the array forms a slash across the lid with customizable LEDs that can display battery status, bump to beat of your favorite music, and more.
The Zephyrus Duo is a true mobile battlestation, so it must have the I/O to match. We’ve equipped it with an HDMI 2.1 port for display output, dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, and a full-sized SD card reader. It also sports a pair of USB Type-C ports, both of which feature Thunderbolt™ 4 support, DisplayPort™ 2.1, and power delivery up to 100W, giving it compatibility with a huge range of peripherals. Rounded out with an analog audio jack and a port for DC power, the Zephyrus Duo is ready to be the centerpiece of your next setup, no matter where you go.
As the world’s first dual 16” screen gaming laptop, we had to think outside the box when it came to the keyboard. This wireless keyboard is just 5.1mm thick and offers the same 1.7mm key travel distance and satisfying feel that you’d expect from an ROG gaming laptop. The deck itself is covered with an smudge-resistant and ultra-premium fabric for a silky smooth feel. We dramatically increased the size of the keycaps (112%) and the touchpad (267%) for a more ergonomic design and ease of navigation. With less than 30dB of key noise and a 20 million keypress lifetime, this wireless keyboard helps to make the Zephyrus Duo one of the most adaptable laptops ROG has ever created.
The Zephyrus Duo is just one of the amazing products that we’re announcing at CES 2026. For more information on the lineup of amazing gamer gear that ROG has on offer for the new year, check out our roundup article here.
