ROG teams up with iconic voice actors in cheeky new video
ROG is full of gamers, and we all have our favorite games that we remember fondly even years after playing them. Memorable characters, great lines of dialogue, and emotional performances by the voice actors behind them can turn great games into instant classics. We recently had the distinct pleasure of working with Steven Ogg, Ned Luke, and Samantha Beart, perhaps better known as Trevor and Michael from Grand Theft Auto V, and Karlach from Baldur’s Gate III, to join us in a fun new video series with tongue-in-cheek portrayals of these famous characters.

Take a break
Picture this. You’re burned out, tired and ready for a break from the grind. You turn to a travel agency, to let someone else plan your excursion to a new place. Seated across the desk from you is Steven Ogg, armed with a snarky smile, iconic horseshoe mustache, and pamphlets for rental cars peppered with phrases like “Unleash your inner outlaw!” and “Crash it if you want!”. ROG Travel makes the impossible possible.
Perhaps stealing cars, driving without a license, and evading arrest isn’t your thing. Samantha Beart may be able to offer a dungeon crawling expedition and access to comically large battleaxe. No matter what kind of adventure you want, memories await.
We won’t spoil everything, because these incredible actors did an amazing job. But we urge you to watch both the video and the “making of” series coming soon on our official YouTube channel. You can also find Steven and Ned on Instagram.

A peek behind the curtain
The incredible actors shared some thoughts on the shoot with the ROG team. The long history between Steven and Ned was front and center, with Steven saying “Absolutely not” when asked if Ned was a good supervisor for ROG Travel. These two voice actors have worked together for years, and they seemed to enjoy embodying two characters that played off of their interpersonal tension again. Steven did think that “Bullying Ned” was a pretty sweet perk of working for the agency, along with the pants optional dress code at ROG Travel.
Samantha really enjoyed working with Ned, saying that his management style had, “...conflict resolution like you wouldn’t believe. Just like me, he uses his fists.” Ned wanted to pass along that “We’re always looking for talented hombres and hombrettes at ROG Travel.”
