The ROG Strix XG276Q gaming monitor makes it a snap to add a face cam to your setup
For many, gaming is no longer a solitary activity. Sharing gameplay on Twitch or YouTube and overlaying a face cam on a stream gives fans an up-close and personal look at your reactions to in-game triumphs and tragedies. One major problem stands in the way of adding such a camera to your setup: finding a stable mounting point for larger DSLRs or mirrorless cameras that also provides a good viewing angle of your face. The new ROG Strix XG276Q gaming monitor makes it simple to mount and aim your face cam. A standard tripod thread atop its adjustable stand can accept compatible heads or accessory arms for cameras—or even additional displays like the ROG Strix XG17AHP and XG16AHP—without requiring you to clutter valuable desk space with clamps or other rigging gear. It's the first in a new series of gaming monitors that will also include 24.5” and 23.8” models. This range of options allows gamers to pair our versatile stand design with a diagonal size that’s perfect for their preferred viewing distance.
Beyond its functional stand design, the XG276Q provides an ideal balance of performance characteristics for a wide swath of gamers. Its 27” diagonal size, 1920x1080 resolution, and 165Hz refresh rate with overclocking are ready to take full advantage of the high frame rates available from today’s mainstream graphics cards. Fast IPS panel technology allows the XG276Q to reproduce motion with exceptional clarity thanks to a 1ms gray-to-gray response time. Adaptive-Sync technology synchronizes the display’s refresh rate with the graphics card’s frame rate for consistently smooth and responsive gameplay. In addition to the high-quality color and contrast inherent to IPS panels, the XG276Q is VESA DisplayHDR 400 compliant to allow gamers to enable HDR output in compatible games and entertainment sources.
The XG276Q isn’t just fast and functional. Its new industrial design incorporates classic ROG elements into a monochrome look that’s uniquely our own yet coordinates easily with other parts of a gaming setup. A prominent ROG logo and bold diagonal slash across the rear of the display provide subtle nods to our signature design. Around front, minimal bezels and out latest stand design look good at rest and fade into the background while you’re in the heat of battle.
