My power just came on after being more than half a year without power! And when I went to power on my PC, intending to game all night, instead was found to a buggy OS. Windows kept saying "critical error your start menu isn't working. we'll try to fix it the next time you sign in" and then getting "NTFS file system" blue screen of death after a couple of restarts..

Mind you, I have a horrible internet connection, less than 0.4 megabits at the moment so downloading Windows 10 ISO is out of the question.. and I do not want to restart with the built in reset tool because it erases my apps. I was able to get inside my profile by using the enter key in the numberpad, which is not affected, also using the onscreen keyboard.

This also happens in my BIOS, and my dual boot screen. What can I do? I really don't want to have to buy a new system, especially in this GPU craze!

I have an Asus G751JL DS71

Here is a video on me demonstrating this weirdness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0BxVHs2l-k

Note: I was able to reinstall Windows 10 Pro using Media Creation Tool, keyboard issues still happening but no longer getting critical errors
