Where to start with Maximus X Hero?

I'm not sure where to start in having some parts 3D printed for my X Hero. I'd like to replace the Republic of Gamers M.2 cover with one that has the ROG letters cut out so the LED shines through the letters... I also thought about a name plate type cover for the lower M.2 cover.

I downloaded the Custom-Nameplate.zip from one of the Asus links. Is this the file I'll want to use for an M.2 cover that has the correct dimensions? What 3D printing software is popular around here? Thanks!

I loaded up the Custom Nameplate.Stl in Microsoft Print 3D. One side has an M.2 sized screw hole but the other side doesn't and I can't determine how the M.2 screw can fix that side to the M.2 mount...
