Is it possible to use Samsung m.2 drives setup in Raid with g703 laptops?

I am being told that, due to firmware and hardware requirements, only Intel drives will work in Raid.

Don't see why not.

Though if I remember in the G703, one of the slots is SATA, and the other two are PCIe. Unsure how Raiding works with that.

However, remember.. NVMe drives are 5x faster than SSD's and SSD's are 5x faster than HDDs, so your NVMe's are 25x faster than mechanical drives and that's just sequential stuff. There's no point in raiding them, since your bottleneck would probably boil down to the CPU itself. (Or whatever it'd be)

So, don't bother raiding, unless you really want to. (don't forget double the data loss) Just letting you know if you like your Samsungs, go ahead and use 'em..
