So I'm still thinking of which gaming laptop to buy, I looked for at the G74 which is still expensive here, the G73 was out of stock. So I looked around more and saw the G53.
I'm getting a laptop since I will travel a bit.
I am wondering if this model spec can let memplay Star Wars: The Old Republic at high settings with good fps. Or if not high maybe a custom setting.

g53sx-xr1
Core i7 2630QM
NVidia 2GB GTX 560M GDDR5
15.6" Full HD (1920 x 1080) Glossy
3 x 4GB ddr3 1333
640gb 5400rpm HDD

Can someone send me also a good review link. Thank you.

The system requirements for that game is:

Processor:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+ or better
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 2 GHz or better

Operating system:
Windows XP
Windows Vista/7

RAM:
Windows XP 1,5GB
Windows Vista/7 2GB

vRAM:
256MB or better, with Shader 3.0 or better
The integrated graphics should have 2GB or more

Graphic card:
ATI X1800 or better
nVidia 7800 or better
Intel 4100 Integrated Graphics or better

DVD-ROM
8x or faster

Just to compare the system spec you have listed, it looks like you should run it just fine.

But there is one - though, you did find a version with 2GB vRAM for the graphic card that gives 128-bit and is not the same as a card with 1,5GB or 3GB vRAM since that is 192-bit version.

So I would hang in the market and hope for to stumble on one G-Series with good specs :)

EDIT: Or if you can wait ASUS would probably release their new G55/G75 around April when Intel release their new Ivy Bridge processor :)
