Hi Community

I just want to know if anyone of you has done a BIOS update on this laptop without any issues because I'm planning to update mine (currently v203) to a newer version if it brings any kind of improvements like performance boost, stability, removing hardware and temperature issues etc. If so, which version is recommendable? Sorry for my bad English.

best regards

Best way to update your firmware is from the BIOS menu.

1.) Download new firmware on to a USB flash drive

2.) Restart your laptop and press F2, F8 or F10 to get into your BIOS menu

3.) Navigate to the firmware flasher

Thanks for the tutorial! Unfortunately that doesn't answer all my questions. I'd like to know which BIOS version brings improvements and it must run stable. Now I just have to be patient until someone who has this or a similar laptop model to answer that question.

ROG G752VS (7th Gen Intel Core) having a Intel® Core™ i7 7700HQ Processor has only two BIOS versions:

Version 302 or version 304.

BIOS version 203 does not exist on this model laptop. If you have BIOS version 203 then you do not have the ROG G752VS (7th Gen Intel Core) having a Intel® Core™ i7 7700HQ Processor (Asus ROG G752VS-GC294T)

I have BIOS version 304 on my G752VSK laptop and have no issues.

Hi jdfrench3

hmm...that's weird because I checked the model of my laptop and I'm really sure that it is ROG G752VS with i7-7700HQ @ 2.81Ghz. Moreover in the BIOS Menu the default BIOS version 203 is shown. So which new BIOS version is now suitable?

Simply run DXDIAG.EXE.

First page will show system model, BIOS, processor, memory.
