I am in the same boat. Did you ever find an answer?

Over at notebookreview.com they have posted the actual asus teardown manual for the g50 which is the same as the g60.

You have to go really deep into the notebook to get at the place to install the bluetooth module. Starting from the bottom
and then removing the screen and finally removing the top to get at the main motherboard.

I haven't attempted this yet But so far I have replaced CPU, installed Blu-Ray Burner, installed ssd, iand nstalled intel 6300 extreme wireless nic.
