Hello!

1) Tonight after starting my PC all of a sudden the SDD stopped working on my G75VW. Moreover, it's not listed any longer in the bios (which has the latest update 223).

2) I had to reinstall Windows 10 on the second normal HDD (which is way slower). Windows has been updated to 1903 today.

3) I also exchanged the slot that used to take the SDD and vice versa. Same result.

4) Can I deduce that the SDD is broken and that it needs to be replaced? It 's not even shown under Windows 10 " Disk Management from under the Storage category." The SSD is from 2012.

5) Can I just buy any new SSD for the ASUS laptop G75VW?

It's just strange that it stopped working all of a sudden.

Here is part of my DXdiag just in case.

Any SATA III 2.5" SSD can be used in either storage slot.

I would suggest as least 1TB models.

My favorite manufacturer is Samsung and favorite seller is Newegg.

Thanks! I've just exchanged the SSD and it works like a charme. 480 GB of pure joy!
