Hello
i have an interesting issue, transferring speed of my usb 3.0 hub is the same as 2.0.
Both transfer at the speed of 8 mb/sec on my flash drive.

How can i solve this problem? All drivers are installed for 3.0 updated up to date, tried different drivers ( old, new )

Thx in advance

May be a silly question, but is your flash drive USB3 compatible?

im having problems with my usb 2.0 drive working at 2.0 speeds on the 3.0 usb but like cat said is your usb flash drive your testing a 3.0? if not
that will be the reason for lower performance. As for me I'm installing the new 3.0 usb driver on the drivers page. I have yet to test my usb 2.0 on a 2.0 drive but I will be soon :D

my usb flash drive is 2.0 , i expected et list small difference due to the fact that hub is 3.0 .
i thought that 3.0 usb hub will give me extra speed for usb flash drive 2.0 , if it doesn't - that sad :(

thx a lot for explaining this to me.

USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 are socket compatible but they don't actually use the same pins (USB 3 are recessed), so there won't be any difference in speed. But the main reason is that since USB 2.0 can top out at about 30MB/s, your Flash drive is far slower than USB 2 even - drop on an external HDD or SSD and you'll really see the difference :)
