View Full Version : mouse cursor issues

So I looked around the forum and fixed most of the issues with the keyboard, but I am still having problems with my mouse cursor. It would randomly jump to different areas on its own. For example, while I would type, the cursor would sometimes jump back a couple of letters and screw up what I am typing. I have carefully monitored my hands while I am typing and I am not touching the touch pad. Is there any fixes for this?

Do you have a Sentelic or Synaptics touchpad? Both can be configured to disable on typing.

I have sentelic driver, but i dont have the touch pad icon on the system tray. Not sure where to access the program.

You can also access the Sentelic touchpad configuration from Device Manager, under Properties of the "Finger Sensing Pad". The touchpad tray icon is also enabled there in the "Finger Sensing Pad" tab.

To disable the Sentelic mouse when typing, you must enable "Asus SmartSense" in the "Finger Sensing Pad" tab.
