Does this computer

have wi-fi? Under the specs on the best buy site, it said nothing about having wifi, only wifimax 4g. Does this computer have 802.11 b/g/n? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Thats weird, for some reason the link isn't working, one second.

EDIT 2: At least the link isn't working for me, so I don't know what's wrong. Here is the link without the [URL] thing: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Asus+-+Laptop+/+Intel%26%23174;+Core%26%23153;+i7+Processor+/+17.3%22+Display+/+6GB+Memory+/+640GB+Hard+Drive+-+Black/1257894.p?id=1218243761956&skuId=1257894 <---- just copy and paste that into your browser. So yeah, does this computer have wifi and if so is it b/g/ or n?

Yes, you can use either wifi or wimax but not bot at the same time. I do find the wifi "seems" to have lower connection speeds, but that maybe due to the networks I am logging in to.

Yes, it does have wi-fi. It has an Intel 6250 Wireless A/G/N + WiMAX mini-pci-e half-height card. I swapped mine for a regular Intel 6200 A/G/N card since I don't plan on subscribing to a 4G (WiMAX) account. The card is very easy to swap... it's right next to the 2nd HDD bay. Just gently pull the antenna leads off by the connector caps and unscrew the two screws that hold it down. Don't lose those tiny screws, they're hard to find. Remember to re-attach the leads on the new card the same way they were attached on the original card.
