Updated the WiFi driver succesfully, but the BT ones do not update.
Here is what I get in RAPR:

85305

Tried to force update manually but Windows says I have latest driver installed. Any clue?

Hi,

I updated the thread (ASUS hardware ID not supported by the 1.8.xxxx.xxxx branch), you can try again.

I forced the driver 1.8 just before seeing this post.
Did it manually selecting the v4.2 as my motherboard specs. Installed it and seemed to work, but as it is tricky (and immagine will NOT bring that much of improvements -- in case YES, please tell us about it), I switched to the 1.7 you just posted. Every thing perfect!

Need to say that the "The operation completed successfully" came up after a while, and not immediately, so it is metter to wait a bit before thinking it was not installed.

Hi,

There is no typo mistake, please read carefully before trying to correct people, these are other drivers.

Regarding the links, I just tested it and it works well.

I'm sorry, you are right. Though to help and I hadn't read carefully.

Regarding downloads, yes, they work now.

Thank you for everything.

First of all, thank you for all the great threads here!

I'm currently facing some issues with my ethernet adapter (described here (https://superuser.com/questions/1611201/how-to-troubleshoot-a-faulty-onboard-ethernet-adapter-and-determine-whether-the)) and hoping to seek some clarification, as SE and Discord did not bring much more clarification. I did get a singular reply solely regarding the question of whether all Maximus X Hero Wifi-AC boards come with the same on-board network adapters here:

Discord Convo (https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/TFIIxcGJpY6wKSi8_mulipgTfqFKBSuF2h19xUUu5QEM3Hj5zl t6skHlbp7Ofiu3c8-aSlXSPldEWRMUXZ5d=w1920-h916)

From this, I inferred that all Maximus X Hero Wifi-AC ship with Intel i219-V Ethernet Adapter along with Intel WIfi and BT adapters. A while back, due to an update that broke Miracast functionality, I had read at the time that this was due to Intel pulling the plug on interoperability, and as a result I had replaced the driver with one for "Realtek 8822BE Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC", which indeed restored Miracast functionality. Somewhere in-between, the ethernet port stopped working though, and due to various circumstances I didn't notice until much later on, leading to my current quandary of wondering whether or not the loss of function is in some manner caused by the above mentioned change, or a completely unrelated matter.

I've made a presumption that perhaps I might need to change all my networked adapter drivers (WLAN, ethernet, and BT) to Realteks', but wasn't certain whether or not this was the case, and my searches were inconclusive to my limited understanding. Since your threads consolidate multiple model series together, I also realized I should not just simply assume these are beyond any doubt compatible with my hardware, and thought it prudent to first post and check. As such, I'm here hoping to get some clarification as all my attempts thus far have not remedied the issue and I'm becoming increasingly uncomfortable with continuing any potentially detrimental actions borne of my poorly informed decision making.

Thanks in advanced for any feedback!
