some notebooks were packaged with UL powercord, some with CEE powercord (you can see this info on the stamp sticking on the package). I just wondering what's difference between these 2 types of powercord, now I'm using the UL powercord on a laptop that was originally packed with CEE one.

Let me Google that for you...

UL:Underwriter's Laboratory.

UL listed items are guaranteed to meet or exceed standards that help prevent homefires, electrical surges, electrical fires, et cetera.

CEE: Is either the Euro agency that describes plug types, or the Center for energy and environment. Either way, neither are guaranteed to meet the same, or even equivalent standards.

UL is the US standard while CEE is the European one.
I just conclude that after a while looking all over Google, but I still have no idea what's the main difference between these 2.
