Hi,

I recently built a new system utilizing the ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming mobo and a 10700K CPU. I previously had a system based on a Rampage IV Extreme mobo with a 3930K CPU.

In the Rampage board's BIOS there were preconfigured overclocking profiles from Asus (Standard, Gamer, Extreme), but I don't see anything like that in the BIOS of this Z490-E Gamer mobo. The only thing I see are the XMP profiles. Am I missing the preconfigured profiles or is it strictly manual overclocking on this board?

Thanks!

Bill

There is a basic overclock you select at top right, or you can switch to the advanced mode. There are no profiles I can remember other than AI Overclock which auto overclocks your board it the basic mode.

I was in Advanced mode and didn't see an option to overclock from there (on the right). I'll go back in a check again, or switch to the basic mode for the o.c. settings. Thanks!
