Hello! I set CPU Core Ratio to AI Optimized in Bios on my new z590I motherboard in order to test the automatic Asus OC function.
When I stress test in OCCT, my Vcore was set to 1.65V. Not good at all.
I hope that it didn't damage my brand new i7-11700KF CPU :(

MCE and AI Optimization has always been known to do this. Manual OC'ing is the way to go.

that is soooo misunderstood, ai opt never sets any vcore higher than 1.55v
its your cpu's native vid that is high
open up turbov core check the actual set adaptive voltage
and how has mce been known to "do this"?
do what?? over volt the cpu?
or how about the cpu itself has its own vf curve that is "not to your liking"?

Dont use it. VID tables are high. After I went from running 9940x on adaptive Vcore. I crapped when I saw what a 10980XE does! I run a static Vcore all core OC @1.185Vcore. I try adaptive or worse auto and its like 1.414. Dont use AI Suite or any other "auto OC". Do it in the BIOS. Dont use tubro Vcore either.

You want it done right it just takes a little time a patience to OC it manually from within the BIOS.
