Hey all, I have a question about my G74.

I purchased it a few months back, around October I think. I purchased it second hand from its previous owner. He barely used it and needed to sell it for the money.

I immediately noticed that at times the bottom left keyboard keys (most important ones, e.g. shift, ctrl, fn, windows) did not respond well/on the first click.

Since then, the problem has gotten worse. My bottom left ctrl key responds maybe 25% of the time, same with my alt key. In order to make them work, I need to click the keys down really hard.

What should I do to fix the problem? Thanks for the help. :)

Edit: I think there's some kind of purchasable warranty for the laptop. I did not get it from the previous owner, as he wanted the extra payment for it. If I were to RMA it to asus (can I?) how much would it be?

Check out this thread: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?9245-Cause-of-unresponsive-sluggish-keys-on-G74&highlight=KEYMASTER

It discusses how to shim "hard to press" keys.
