I'm very curious how this driver will work with the G74.

Never even heard of it. Are you sure it's for mobile GPUs?

Positive. These are nvidia's newest beta drivers - and, they're for both desktop and mobile gpus. Look here

Anyone whose tested these drivers out, please let me know how they turn out.

It works great. nVidia's beta drivers are always very reliable. I have been running betas for some time without ever having issues. I haven't noticed really anything different, other than the number change . However, I have heard wonder stories about the FXAA (Fast Approximate Antialiasing). It is implemented deep enough at the driver level that you could anti-alias the Windows Desktop. Because of this level of implementation, it is supported even in games that do not support anti-aliasing.

I tried these drivers today, and my fps went down in the games I played even after setting up some profiles. This driver also brought back the horrible Horizontal lines in my screen (they appear on dark backgrounds like this forum). So I reverted back to the 285.79, which hits the sweet spot performance wise.

PS...Does anyone else here see those horizantal lines on dark backgrounds on drivers above 285.79?? I know a few people have this issue, just wondering if anyone else does.

I tried these drivers today, and my fps went down in the games I played even after setting up some profiles. This driver also brought back the horrible Horizontal lines in my screen (as they did in the 295 drivers. They lines usually appear on any dark background/colors, like this forum. So I reverted back to the 285.79, which hits the sweet spot performance wise.

PS...Does anyone else here see those horizontal lines on dark backgrounds on drivers above 285.79?? I know a few people have this issue, just wondering if anyone else does. If you're confused by what I'm referring to by "horizontal lines", take a look at this thread (http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?11405-G74-Horizontal-lines-on-screen)

That downloads the 32 bit drivers, so make sure you get the 64 bit ones.

Incidentally, the beta drivers have fixed my issue with the "graphics driver has stopped working blah blah snore...." errors.
