I've had this laptop for a tad over a month now and I've loved it. However now my image looks terrible, here is a photo for reference.

It started this morning. Last night I was in a rush to go to bed and quickly hibernated the computer and set it in my bag. Never did I drop it or step on it or anything of that nature however. This morning I got my computer out and turned it on and now it looks like this. It happens in the ASUS splash screen as well in Windows. One thing to note, however, is it NEVER happens on my external monitor. So I'm assuming something is wrong with the LCD on the laptop.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ok I 'fixed' it. When I called in to asus support and they asked me for the serial number of the laptop I obviously had to turn it over and read it off. When I flipped my computer back over the screen was working fine. So it must be some loose connection that turning the computer around fixed.

Here is a thread with a similar video issue: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?12490-G73sw-Issues-with-white-black-while-gaming

Being able to resolve it by manipulating the laptop or pressing on it in a certain spot (plus not having the issue on an external monitor) indicates a possible bad LVDS cable connection or a faulty cable. If you are comfortable with disassembling your laptop, reseating the cable connection to the motherboard may be worthwhile, if this problem recurs.

I would like to try this myself. If I do it though I won't be able to return it under warranty will I?
The video posted is relevant to my laptop too? In other words, how do I reseat the cable?
