Hey guys, my first post here, so I am sorry if I'll make some mistake or break some rule :)

I just want to ask if there is a chance on getting some new screws which are holding DirectCU II cooler on my card's PCB (and backplate). For better interduction I attached image where are my needed screws. Understand, my card is completly fine and thumb up to ASUS for this, but as the time comes and I am a sort of a tweaker, screws and the holes in them are kind of damaged and can't be used very good (can't screw them enough to hold cooler on GPU and thermal paste).

So my question is, is there some way how to get these new screws and if not, is there a shop, where whole cooler incl. screws can be bought ?

I have written to asus in my home land (czech republic btw) and they said they can't do anything for me and that I should try my reseller's help. Than I write my shop where I bought the card but they said they can't help me neither.

As my last hope I wrote to about 5 biggest shops with PC stuff in our state and tried to get something from them, like if they don't have some spare parts from RMA cards etc. Three of them wrote me, I should write to Asus and other two didn't respond yet.

Any help would be appreciated and also if there is some aftemarket cooler, which would be compatibile with my ASUS ROG Matrix 580 Platnum, let me know (I would like upcoming Accelero Xtreme III - http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/detail/index/sArticle/554/sCategory/2182, but I don't know if it is compatibile).

P.S. - Pictures are made on ASUS 580 GTX DCII but I have Matrix version. But screws should be the same.
P.S. 2 - Sorry for my english and sometimes long sentences. It's not my native language.

Thank you.

why change the cooler? the matrix coolers is aftermarket and specifically designed for the matrix, taking it off would ruin the matrix in my opinion. the matrix cooler does its job very nice.

I know that it has good cooler, but as I said, screws on it are so used atm, that I can't use it. That's why I want new cooler if there is not an option of getting new screws for current Matrix cooler.

Anyway thanks for help and reply :)

Just go to a hobby or model shop and buy a small threading tool and tap your threads to a new size. Buy the screws for the new thread size from the model shop.

Beings youve mentioned that you like to tinker AND looking for different cooling options for you card ill suggest this. Theres been several peeps who have done this to their Matrix cards.
