Hey guys, I am new here on this forum. Anyway, I customized a G55 online and I have some relative noob questions regarding RAM and CPU. I am still trying to contact the reseller if I could edit my order since the order is still pending because probably they do not have it in stock yet..? I customized my Asus G55 and here are the specs:

-Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit
-i7 3720QM 6mb cache
-Kingston 16gig dual channel DDR3 at 1600mHz (4DIMMS)

I am still thinking if I should:
- increase the processor to i7 3820 8m cache = add $200
-increase RAM to Kingston 16gig duah channel DDR3 at 1866MHZ(4DIMMS) =add $70+

Will they these two increase an FPS of a game a bit? Is the extra bucks worth the upgrade?

That won't make any difference for game FPS.

RAM, there is a slight chance it will reduce micro-stuttering, but the CPU is a waste unless you do lots of video editing or run game servers.
