Hi,

I get proposition from seller to add SSD 2,5" OCZ Vertex 4 128GB
SATA3 BOX to G75.

My question is: What do you think about this SSD?

thanks for answers

Please write your opinion on those two options:

1. SSD 2,5" OCZ Vertex 4 128GB SATA3 BOX to G75

2. SSD 2,5" OCZ Agility 3 120GB SATA3 BOX

thanks

Your preferred SSD choices are compared at this URL:

Alternatively, you could also compare your choice(s) to other SDD, based on a wide range of benchmark results.

I would seriously think about putting in an intel SSD ... new ones use sandforce controller with special tweaks/code written by Intel. The new 520's are way down in price have top performance and 5 year guarantee.

My new G75VW has the 180 gb Intel 520 ( purchased from microcenter ... 279 before tax has intel rebate down to 229 US ... for 180 gb ).

I bought the Intel 520 120 GB and it brought my WEI disk drive score from 5.9 to 7.9 so I am very happy with it.

If you cannot get an intel 520 ( seems weird ) then I would probably consider the samsung 830 series next. That's just me ...

I installed a 256gb Crucial m4, purchased online for $198.00 the drive is extremely fast and has taken my G75VW boot time to 10 seconds.
