For all activities, be sure to sign up on the ROG forums to be eligible to win prizes. Must be present at this event to participate and win.

Friday-Sunday we will be doing overclocking demos with LN2 along with an OC workshop.

OC Workshop. Whether you have experience in overclocking or not, we will show you how to get the best performance from ROG motherboards.

Rules:

Be sure to sign up for the ROG Forums
Give our latest motherboard a test drive, we will teach you how to overclock.
If you can reach 5GHZ, you're entered in the raffle to win an ROG motherboard.
Its that simple.

Looking forward to this! And to echo the other posters, sponsorship is what drives a lot of my purchasing of components.

Ya wish I could have made it. Would like to see all those vid cards asus is giving away. Never saw that many or even half at lanfest from them. Hmm there's a thinker!:(

Thanks a bunch to Brian, Eric, and Travis, as well as the rest of the ROG team for sponsoring pdxlan! Had a lot of fun at the booth, and it was pretty cool to see the ln2 overclocking in person!
Also, thanks for the R3E board, I cant believe I won! I installed it last night, and now I pouring over the manual, amazed at all the features this things got.

Hope to see you all at future events!

Thank you Brian Travis and Eric for coming to PDX17 we love seeing you guys. The LN2 cooling was amazing its really exiting to see how far ASUS products can be pushed with the LN2 cooling. With the R3E board and quad sli GTX480's They were only a few hundred points away from beating kingpins record who was using the sr2 board and GTX580's, this tell me that ASUS products are able to push the limit so much further than other companies out there. It really puts faith in your company seeing demos like this and having the expertise on products that brian, Eric, and Travis bring to these lans. We as gamers love all the free swag and components that ASUS donates to lans but what really shows us that you care about us as consumers and showing us the performance of your products are these kind of demos like the LN2 cooling and the Overclocking competition that Travis and Eric organized. They really taught me a lot about overclocking and how easy it is with your new bios setup on your new sandy bridge boards. I hope this kind of thing never fades away because no matter haw many graphics cards and motherboards you give away at the lan if we don't know how we can squeeze every ounce of performance out of them. Thank you ASUS team and everyone involved and i hope to see you this summer at PDX 18 so we can get more photos and footage of the LN2 cooling because it is really one of the coolest thing that i have ever seen.

There is a .5 in November and a full LAN in February(see link). The difference with the .5 LAN is that it's only 350 seats, only 3 days, and more focused on gaming. The full LAN is 500, 4 days, and has more contests, sponsor presentations, etc. Both are fun.
