I've run into an issue lately and would like to reformat my machine. Yet a problem has arisen in that I have Ubuntu on my secondary drive in my G73.

Normally, to uninstall Ubuntu one would just clear the partition and then run fdisk to fix the mbr (get rid of grub). However, I cannot get into the recovery drive on the G73 to run fdisk. Grub won't let me! I'm so thoroughly lost on what to do. It's not like I have a cd I can boot into and run fdisk from that.

Is there any way I can get around this?

Oh, to complicate issues I don't have any blank cds or dvds. I do have flash drives though.

You can download a Win 7 ISO and boot from that. There's one on my Resource page.
