Evening all,

I'm a new owner of an Asus G53SW-XA1 and I'm interested in a buying a backpack for it. I've already looked at the following products:

ASUS Automobili Lamborghini Backpack - $69.99 as of 5/31/2012

ASUS ROG Shuttle Backpack - $109.00 as of 5/31/2012

ASUS ROG G73 Backpack - $65.00 as of 5/31/2012

Everki Beacon Laptop Backpack with Gaming Console Sleeve - $99.11 as of 5/31/2012

Slappa Velocity SPYDER PRO - $53.99 (+shipping) as of 5/31/2012

If you were in the market for a backpack, which would you prefer and why? I have an HP Touchpad, Amazon Kindle, and Canon T2i camera that I may also add if the backpack is big enough, but the primary focus is on the G53. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Thanks! :)

Hi, there. My G74 came with the ASUS ROG G73 Backpack, and they fit well together.
But if I had a G53 and were to choose one, I'd go for the ASUS Automobili backpack.
I saw it once in one of the shops in my place, and my eyes said it was a backpack for keeps.
Good hunting!..

P.S. Nice collection of G53 backpack choices you've linked in there. Black motif is always a turn on.

Thanks for the reply and I agree. I've been leaning towards the Asus Lamborghini Backpack and have it in my cart, but have yet to commit. I'm still open to suggestions from other RoG owners as well.

Hi Equinox, Congratz on you new Asus g53sw.

I use the black Asus ROG bag I got with the box, its pretty durable :) !

Few things to keep in mind. The Asus g53sw is an amazing awesome piece of work. The only downside some people face is the pin breaking thing. Pin breaking = the DC power pin breaks due to strain. I'd advise you to not force the pin in completely, just plugging it 1/8th inside will charge and power the laptop properly.

Other than that, it plays Crysis awesome in All-High settings.

I decided to go ahead and buy the Asus Lamborghini Backpack after sleeping on it. It's a well designed backpack from the pictures I've seen online and I love the Asus brand. I'm still looking for other accessories for my laptop, such as a skin/decal and wireless gaming mouse, but I may make another thread for that.

In regards to the power pin I have been lucky, but to be safe I bought a Right Angle Connector Converter (http://amzn.com/B004L74PGI) after reading several recommendations. Thanks for your response. :)
