Hi there.

Let me start off by saying I am dead-set on getting one of the Asus laptops as it does not seem anyone can meet the build quality or price for performance. I found one of the older models at bestbuy for what I think is a decent deal, $1200 for G73JH. The only thing I am soso about is the harddrive having a 5400rpm. I have a 7200 in my desktop and I felt(could be wrong) as if it was much faster then the 5400 I replaced.

Is the above laptop any decent? I don't do a TON of PC gaming. I play WoW, might play one of the new mmo's, Diablo III and Witcher 2. That is honestly about the extent of it. I don't need to run Crysis or anything insane.

Also, can I even upgrade the laptops? TigerDirect was tying to get me to spend $400.00 more on a laptop I could not really see much of a difference in. Had an Nvidia card as opposed to the ATI, and a 7200 rpm drive. Any help would be great.

This one for the price is a better buy. The unit has 2 HDD bays, so you can add a faster HDD, or the Momentus XT Hybrid, or even a SSD for the best speed increase. You will need to get a HDD bracket tho.
