According to my notice when i installed their New BETA 304.48 version. The straight horizontal lines i used to see (especially on solid color wallpapers ) are now Gone! along with the flickering when lowering the brightness.

Additionally I notice a HUGE FPS boost while playing D3 (usually had 43-57.) But now lately im getting over 70.

GPU temperature Idle before on 296.16 was around 32-36 Celsius
GPU Temperature Idle after on 304.48 is 32-35 Celsius (lol ;p )
I noticed on Daily task (youtube, working on documents or multi tasking ) i didn't get past 39 Celsius. Before i used to get around 40-45 easily.

On gaming it haven't change much. depending on the game resource i play (such as D3, League, GTA etc) i dont get above 63
games such as crysis is usually 65 max.

Here is the Download :

Please give this Thread a Feedback. I want to make sure i am not the only one who noticed This!!!

Hi.

I felt curious about your good results using the Nvidia 304.48 soi I gave it a try.

With the Nvidia 296.10 and playing Max Payn 3 with everything on high (ansistropic 4x) I got 30 fps (Asus G74SX-RH71), with the new beta driver I get 40-50 fps (same configuration in the game). The max temp is 69 C so its pretty good.

About the issues you comment (horizontal lines) I never saw that, but the gaming results show a great improvement with this new driver.

I will keep meassuring the temp and fraps in diferent games and situations, if something goes wrong I'll be posting it ASAP.

Lines are not as noticeable as with the 295.73, but slightly there still..... good none the less.... If this doesn't crash, it will be a good replacement for the 295.73

My G74 Monitor is N173HGE-L21CMO.... dont think LG made a monitor for the G74 unless your regarding external monitors ( could be wrong as there is 2 or 3 manufactures that make monitors for the G74)
