Hello

I just bought a Nokia 360 degree Bluetooth Speaker.

http://www.nokia.com/global/products/accessory/md-50w/

Connecting the speaker with a wire works just fine.

Time to try to connect it with Bluetooth.

To do this you are supposed to touch the speaker at the NFC location (what does this mean?) with the BT unit. Where is the BT situated on the G74s so I can touch the speaker here since it seems it needs a short distance to connect?

I can see my Bluetooth drivers under the Device Manager/Bluetoothradio section

I can try to add new bluetooth device under music and Harware and sound in the control panel but it won't find anyunits even if the speaker is placed on top of the laptop and turned on.

Any help is appreciated here...

EDIT:

I installed Atheros AR3011 Bluetooth 3.0 and checked that NTF means Near Field Communication. Maybe this speaker won't work with the Asus laptop because it isn't a smartphone or should they work together?

Bluetooth does not require contact to pair. Usually there is a "pairing" mode on every device so that it will search for other bluetooth devices with which to connect. It might be a button combination or a long button press or something. Check your manual for something like that. When you get your speaker in pairing mode then you should be able to search for it with the laptop and connect to it (might require the entry of a PIN which would also be in the speaker's manual).
