Hello,

since I have a g series at home... I've found it a bother to carry all the time for work too big and bulky.

1. I would transfer photo's to home office via email.
2. send documents to home office via email. no remove access...

mostly email related work

netbook with sdd.??? thoughts?

I'm not up to spec nor do I have any experience with iphone. or android phones

I just want the easiest way to send my info to home office. quick and painless.

texting instead of touch typing on a full sized keyboard or/and sending one photo at a time off an old phone is a pain

That might not be a bad idea. Get a nice ASUS netbook, or else a U-series, if you want a portable machine with low-end dedicated graphics and a real CPU. Netbooks are too slow for a lot of things. The U-series notebooks are much faster--full-voltage i3/i5 CPU ~$800. Geforce 310M is in one of the older models. Definitely something to consider if you have the money! :)

I think you'd be better served with a Transformer tablet w/keyboard dock.

Netbooks are woefully under powered and tend to be more hassle than their worth.

Not only that but the transformer has drastically better battery life (and it's touch screen! :D)
