Buy this instead

http://www.sears.com/asus-g75vw-rs72-intel-core-i7-3610qm-17.3inch/p-00332592000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1

i bought it on monday and just got it today.(surprised how fast i got it since it was regular shipping) It seems the specs are same but for 400$ cheaper you get a 750GB HDD instead of a 1500TB drive and a GTX 670m instead of a 660m.

put it this way, if you want Blu Ray badly get DS71 other wise get the RS72 like i said the RS72 is 400$ cheaper and you get a better video card.

i dont care for bluray, as im basically getting it for gaming. dont want many movies. but the ds71 from newegg is roughly the same price

Newegg has the NS71 not DS71 and NS71 has a 500 GB HDD instead of 750GB of the RS72 everything else is the same and also 100$ more than RS72.

thanks for the clarification.

but does everyone recommend this computer?

I've read about a lot of issues. which seem to be mostly driver issues so i know it'd get cleared up eventually.

just want to get everyones straight up thoughts on it
