i can't get the resolution to go any higher than 800x600, also textures are set to low..
When i try to change settings it says graphics need to be set lower for gameplay or something to that effect..

Has anyone else experienced this? can anyone help?

Crysis 2 runs nicely with all settings at Ultra

thanks

What is your computer settings? Which Video driver are you using? what version of NVIDIA PhysX Technology you have? Since Crysis 2 is running good, have you change any settings in game such as anti-aliasing? Shader? Rendering? Anisotropic? OpenGL? DirectX? or any that might affect?

Perhaps launching it with "-norestrictions -nomemrestrict" (sans quotes) in the command line of LaunchGTAIV.exe (or LaunchEFLC.exe) could do the trick, also try to check the settings files if you haven't yet? have you apply any patches? or update on to the game that might have caused this low settings restriction?

GTA4 is a game from Win XP, so unfortunately you'll probably be limited to crappy low res playing it...unless by some chance they re-released it for Win7

You can use nomemrestrict option from"Mpelissari." That is the only way you can change your resolution and graphics settings.
