I bought a Asus G75 from bestbuy but returned it as it was to big and it didn't come with any recovery discs. I returned it to
purchase a Lenovo Y580 but i realized that with one fan and multiple complaints about the harddrive heating up i would give
Asus a finally chance as the laptop i bought was AMAZING. The total from bestbuy was 1520 because it came with a 1 year accidental warranty. Since i don't have an asus right no im wondering which i should get. The Asus G75 with the accidental warrenty for 1520 or without for around 1350. Or should i get the Asus G75 from microcenter without the accidental warrenty for around 1480. Im very careful with my things but having a warrenty incase you drop your laptop would be nice. I just need your guys opinion on which i should get. The Asus G75bbk5 or the Asus G75rs72. Im not gonna play graphic intensive games maybe ill play BF3 here and there but mainly ill play TF2 CS:GO Skyrim, etc. DVD/blu ray doesnt matter. Thanks!

size doesnt matter anymore

If size does not matter and you do not play intensive games, then the options that I would look at is the return policies vs. price.

The Best Buy at 1520 vs. Microcenter at 1480 is only $40 difference. Which is more important to you, more HDD space or protection? Besides, you can always upgrade later.

Personally, I opted for the protection (G75vw-BBK5 w/ 3years). It came in handy when my G73 went south with only 2 weeks left on the protection plan!

Ultimately, the choice is entirely up to you, we can only give our opinions.

The G75 cools the best out of any laptop on the market, so that means a longer lasting machine. :)

I would suggest a DS72, After all, Performance & execution = Speed. You can't afford to NOT HAVE an SSD drive & 16GBs.

ssd's are cheap now to upgrade and memory is a steal

I have 24gb and a 256gb ssd in my best buy only cost me around a extra 400
