Seems like a very complex board to support both ATi and Nvidia on the same board.

Brian, you should fly me out there to take professional shots of the gear. Your photos aren't doing it justice man. :D

The board is insanely big, but upon looking at it, my reaction was like....http://i41.tinypic.com/2b4i0o.jpg

So it only has 2 PCI Ex16 for a big board like that?! Are you kidding me?!

It's just a concept. I don't know that I've ever seen a concept design that made it to production without any changes.

the only thing i would like to start seeing on your boards is the on off and hdd lights on the right side of the board half way up.

It would be great to include this board in the ROG/Asus Sandy Bridge line-up :P
It is the most beautiful board that I've ever seen :)

just kidding. This was just a concept to show what could be possible in the future with lucid technology

Of course I understood it was a concept technology. But I wanted to know the reason "why" it wouldn't be implemented? Is it because of the cost? Or is it that ASUS doesn't think the demands will be high for it?

Believe me, I am all about learning new technologies. Today, its proceeding faster than we ever imagine and I always would love to get my hands on one. But unfortunately it comes at a price, and can't always want the best of the best. Nor do we get what we want exactly.

Forgive me, but from my understanding, LUCID technology means the ability to use NVIDIA and AMD graphics together correct? I think its cool, but how does that benefit gamers? Or the general audience? Is it higher FPS in games? Smoother graphics (I know that's stupid)?
