Hi there

I was wondering... Did those who own a G55VW suffer from performance issues during long sessions (6 hours and above)?

Coz, my usage for the G55VW will be in long sessions playing games, making video calls, watching anime/movies and so on

So my question is, does the performance of the G55VW dip as usage increases? Or does it maintain the same level of high performance?

Thanks.

Non that I am aware of. Although I have upgraded the RAM and HDD to SSD. Sometimes I even play games like FFIV, Starcraft or Diablo 3 on high settings with more than 60+ FPS without any issues. Only thing I complaint about is the screen sometimes flicker when logging unto D3, but once you are in, all is good though.

And as u kept playing, did the performance stutter/become worse? Or did it stay at 60+ FPS?

Well, my G55VW has an uptime of 176.06 hours right now, and it's running Skyrim with UltraHD textures great and stuff great.

Not 100% relevant, but I put some serious time in on my G75 for 8+ hour gaming and 3D rendering sessions sessions now several times and I do not notice a performance hit. In fact, I respect how efficient the cooling is on this laptop during long grind sessions.
