Hey Guys,
Im 0B0E and want to show you how to easily flash/upgrade your Bi0S
Lets Begin:
FIRST KEEP THE CARGER IN THE NOTEbOOK THE WHOLE PROCESS!!!!!!!
1.Download the newest or the Bios you want from the asus site
3.Format the Usb Flash Drive to Fat32 Note:I would use an usb stick with 2gb over this It proberbly will not work
2.Save the Bios on a flash drive
3.Turn off keyboard lights, as well as blue bar light under screen and blue lights on the 3 buttons top left of keyboard (I don´t know If its Necessary but I´ve done it).
4.Stick the flash drive back into a USB port and restart the notebook
5.When you see the Asus splash screen, press the F2 key to enter Bios
6.In the Bios, go to the Advanced tab
7.In Advanced tab, select "Start Easy Flash" (should already be selected), and hit enter
8.This should bring you to the Asus Easy Flash Utility page
9.Under "Current Platform" you should have your current Bios
10.Navigate to the right middle pane, and select G73JhAS.213 (or whatever version you want to flash to and is on the flash drive), and hit enter.
11.It will ask "Do you want to update BIOS", and give you options "Yes and No"
12.Select Yes, and the update will begin, and run through to completion
13.When finished, the notebook will shut down, and you're done
14.Go, and Restart your Notebook and you will have the new Bios:cool:
15.Be Happy and Enjoy
PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE THE STEPS THAT WORKED FOR ME. I CANNOT GUARANTEE IT WILL WORK FOR YOU, NOR CAN I TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY IF IT DOES NOT. ANY UPDATES TO YOUR BIOS ARE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
