Hi, im about to purchase a G75 (this one actually http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-G75VW-DS73-3D-17-3-Inch-Laptop-Black/dp/tech-data/B007RKGJD8/ref=de_a_smtd) but im wondering, would my video capture hardware works with it? I tried using in with my G73 with no avail (since it looks the USB 3.0 speed its not enough)

My card is this one (http://www.amazon.com/Blackmagic-Design-Intensity-Computers-Professional/dp/B003WSQTWU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1343053886&sr=8-1&keywords=blackmagic+shuttle)

Anyone could help me with this issue?

It requires at least a 1366 cpu socket. That socket was replaced by 2011.

Your laptop is socket 1155.

There's only one laptop that uses socket 2011(uses Desktop CPU) , it's made by Clevo and will retail around $3,000

1366 & 2011 are both high end desktop sockets

I would say that it would be a gamble to use that device with the G75
