hi i have Asus k53sc laptop I think i have some problem with my bios. My bios version 216.
I want to install windows 7 64bit in UEFI enabled mode. I am able to boot through UEFI. The next screen i got is windows is loading file after it finishes i got winfows 7 screen with windows logo on center. My laptop got struck after that, only windows 7 screen is coming it is not going to next step of installation and there is no error message also. Is UEFI boot is broken in this version?

Have anyone faced this problem.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem.

Please reply

Thanks

Why do you want to run in UEFI mode? It simply causes compatibility problems with Win 7. BIOS mode is fine for everything.

I am planning to purchase SSD and will install win 8 on it. So write now i testing my laptop, whether all features are functioning properly or not, because i have paid for it.

OK, that makes sense. SSDs work fine with BIOS mode. UEFI booting is only necessary when booting off a partition greater than 2 TB (I believe, don't quote me on this). There are some workarounds, as I recall, but since I do not have a 3 TB drive in my laptop, I don't have any problems...3 TB 10K RPM...I wish. ;)

Everything else working perfectly?? When everything works, please join my group. :)
