I plan to buy this computer http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-G75VW-DS72-17-3-Inch-Laptop-Black/dp/B007R9PWLY/ref=pd_cp__1.
Its the G75VW.
Technical details

750GB 7200rpm Hard Drive + 256GB Solid State Drive

Hi John,

We have an entire forum dedicated to the G75/G55.

http://rog.asus.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?146-G75-and-G55-Series-Notebooks

Is this a good choice? I think so!

Should I buy it? See above

Are there any specific features or problems I should know? There's currently a issue with the sub-woofer

Any personal user experience I like mine :)

Thanks Your welcome :D

I'm trying to buy one in Spain, it seems out of stock everywhere. I wish to know if somebody has tested it with Linux (Ubuntu or Debian).

I have purchased the G75VW-BBK5 every thing is great except for the 1TB Hard Drive, if you have the extra money yes get that one. I eventually well upgrade to an SSD. Which well make my machine, The Beast.
