I've had my G75 for about two months now and I'm finding that my hands sweat while gaming (nothing new there). The problem is that the moisture has seeped under the left side of the touchpad which has left an unsightly mark and now the pad no longer works in the affected area.

I can't imagine that this is a common problem. From what I can see these laptops are quite well assembled so it would surprise me if the designers had not taken this issue into account. How do I fix this?

Is it actually under the touchpad itself or that shiny/glossy plastic "cover" that came shipped with the unit?

*Sigh* Well done, it was under the plastic cover :o I must admit, I looked at the cover when I got it but it didn't look like the standard protective plastic you get on new cellphones etc so I was reticent to start digging at it.

Anyway problem solved, just another IBCM error... (Idiot Between Chair & Monitor)
