Hey guys =)

Just reinstalled OS to my Asus G75VW, and then AKT driver, I can change keyboard lightning but no windows audio volume? Things what I would like to use with my keyboard:

Touchpad on/off
Keyboard lightning (already works)
Windows volume
Arrow keys (previous, pause, stop, next)

What all I have to install to be able to use all of those? Sorry if this is a noob question but this is the first Asus branded laptop for me :/

I believe the keyboard backlight is controlled through the BIOS on the G75 models. The ASUS ATK Package drivers control the other function keys. Did you reboot after installing the appropriate ATK Package version for your laptop?

The ATK Package may also interact with the other device drivers, so you may need to have the Elantech and VIA drivers installed to get touchpad and audio.volume function key functionality.

The arrow keys are not function keys. I believe they are controlled by the keyboard driver.

You need to pop in your "drivers disk", and run the "setup".
you can pick and choose what drivers you want, in your case the "ATK PACKAGE".
you should add other drives you may need like the Intel IRST, USB3, and other drivers.
Just uncheck the ones you don't need (IE:Bloatware) and you should be good to go.

I got it =D But still these does not work:

Touchpad "enabling/disabling" (fn+f9) not working, I enabled touchpad in my BIOS. - working =D

Arrow keys "last, pause/play, stop, next" (I really like to get these working....)

Oh I see, did you install any third party software that involves the use of any of the "fn" keys, like audio, or video burning?
sounds like it might be a software conflict.
I say this because I installed an older version of "Roxio Creator" , and it totally messed up all the fn keys.
the only keys that worked was, fn5, fn6, and i think fn7 but without that little "splash screen" at the bottom of the screen.
All the "audio control keys" like what you are experiencing were all messed up also.
I tried reinstalling the ATK Package too no avail, then i tried uninstall, and reinstalled Roxio Creator but still that didn't work.
So i had to do "system restore" to before the install to get the fn keys working again.
plus i did a "Reg clean" to remove all Roxio entries just to be safe.
well i do not know if Asus support is aware of the issue, but this need a BIOS update i think.

All those fn keys are working what I liked to get work, except those arrow keys where's those music player kinda buttons too, I have no idea how to get those buttons work too. Kinda odd that if there's no use for those buttons =) It would be nice to use example fn+arrow right to get next song, or fn+arrow down to pause music.

Or maybe those buttons works only in WMP, don't know, I have not tried it yet.

Okay, you need to use the fn key to operate the player keys, fn + > will advance to next track, and so on.
they also work that way with the Roxio CinePlayer.

How do I operate those fn keys to my iTunes player? There's no hotkey function in iTunes as far as I know.

Yeah, the fn keys don't work with iTunes
The only keys that work with iTunes are the track>, and track<, and that's independent of the fn keys
I know that sucks!
