Hey!
Recently, I've noticed some of my keys are getting slow and not functioning well. I was thinking of taking a look under the keyboard to see if there's dirt, but I don't know how to open it up! How do I do this without damaging the computer?
Also, when pressing Function + Arrow Down, Windows Media Center opens up. Really, who uses that? How do I change it to work with Spotify?

DPC Latency can result in keyboard lag, if that is the issue you're reporting? DPC Latency Checker can help you troubleshoot.

McAfee Antivirus has been reported slowing G75 and G55 systems in a number of areas. If you're running it, try UNinstalling it and REBOOTING your system.

Removing the keyboard will technically void your ASUS Warranty. Though you won't need to break any of the yellow warranty seals, you could end up damaging the laptop. Then you'd have to pay for the repair.

There isn't any delay between pressing a button and the reaction. I meant that I have to press the button unnatrually hard for it to work, so I am suspecting dirt under the keyboard.

You could take a look at this thread: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?9245-Cause-of-unresponsive-sluggish-keys-on-G74 . However, you could end up like @smartina in http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?21674-G55-keyboard-typing-alone-problem. If you are still withiin your retailer's exchange/return period, I'd recommend an exchange for a new laptop.

The ASUS Function keys cannot be reprogrammed successfully from what I've read in other posts. The n+key combinations just don't show up in key reprogramming utilities.
